Every Child wants to Explore, Lets make it curious enough!

Source : Google

"A child in your arms is always curious to reach out, touch and feel your earrings, glasses, grabbing your spectacles and pull them off even"

Yes we all have experienced this thousand times.

The first and simplest emotion which we discover in the human mind is "Curiosity" and in a child its intensity is doubled. "A child is a naturally curious creature" You can think of a baby in arms who is unable to crawl will try his level best with his best possible strength to reach out  to those earrings, necklaces, glasses, it will touch it , tap it and pull  them  off your face. He leans and reaches and grabs at your food, the more you hide it behind. His eyes follow the movement of people or pets or objects.

Let it Explore, That’s why
Your Child has come on Earth

All this because they just want to explore. You put them in new surrounding and they are eager and hungry to explore and experience every bit of it.

Once a child was sitting in the garden watching an apple falling from the tree and was curious to know why the apple should always descend perpendicularly to the ground, why not side ways? His curiosity leads him to discover a universal Law of Motion and we all know who that child was, he was Sir Isaac Newton. Similarly a Child's curiosity always leads him to discover something innovative.

Experiential Learning is one of the best ways these days in all the Pre-School to educate little ones about small and big concepts surrounding them. A Child learns more when he is allowed to explore and expose to new things because it ignites his natural curiosity. His learning skills and instincts develop more with new surroundings and presence of all the new catchments for its ears to listen, eyes to see and hands to feel.

I 3 learning Ladder based on Experiential Learning is the well known and most effective teaching philosophy at SJ whose main focus is to enable the child to bring out the artist from within and not letting the curiosity in the child die even when he grows up.  A child learns to discover oneself and this aspect of learning is religiously followed in Shanti Juniors Curriculum. It is one of the major supporting aspects for a Holistic Development of a child which is implemented at SJ via Field Trips. The Field Trips at SJ  are always connected and related to the learning theme being taught in school so it’s quiet easy, comfortable and interesting for a child to connect and relate the real experience with the learning at its School. The understanding of the concept is not only much deeper, stronger and memorable for our little juniors but this actually let them Celebrate their Childhood and eventually they become confident and smart individual for lifetime.
